TAU  EPSILON  REUNION  2004  -  LATEST REUNION UPDATE !
IT’S A BLAST! WE ARE GOING TO VANCOUVER
DIRECT FROM THE CHAIRMAN:

·   A group of confetti throwers will be on top of the airport terminal upon your arrival.
·   BAGPIPERS will fill the air with Scottish Highland Greeting Marching Music.
·   The Landmark Hotel is ready and sparkling to bring out the romantic mood in all
·   All the Big tickets like Welcome Party and the Gala Night Dinner, Tour Bus, Saturday
Picnic at the Park and DJ are all paid for.
·   On food, we are spending some $1,300 for the Welcome Party, $900 catered food for
the picnic including Lechon/ Sarsa, Lumpiang Sariwa, Pancit Malabon, many more…..
and $4,070 for the Formal Gala Night Dinner.
·   Late reunion fees will be used for smaller but numerous ticket items.
·   71 attendees are confirmed with a few more trickling in.
·   From the motherland: Gen Mario Tanchanco, Engr Edgie Pilobello, Commodore Terry
de la Cruz and Businessman Rufino’Boy’Arambulo will give us highlights on the TEF
·   There are some new surprise faces in attendance.
THE MAIN ATTRACTIONS:
Welcome Party: Friday, July 2
·   A few welcome remarks and dinner served.
·   Frat Meeting will commence after the food encounter
·   Enormous length of time for the Ladies to explore the Vancouver Chinatown District.
The Picnic, A Hectic Day: Saturday, July 3
·   A Tour Bus will take our Families to see some of Vancouver’s world-renowned tourist
·   A whole day picnic rendezvous at the Peace Arch Park at the Border of Canada-USA
area follows complete with catered food.
·   The usual games, payabangan, and tsismisan will dominate the rest of the day.
Gala Night: Sunday, July 4
·   Numerous novelty acts will be featured and directed by yours truly.
·   Gala Night in Barong and Formal Long gown of any style for the Ladies.
·   Traditional TAU numbers, e.g., Batch Roll Call, etc.
·   Please see the sitting arrangement below.
·   The TAU Canadian Chapter will serenade the invading Brothers and Ladies day and
night to make the affair a nostalgic lasting memory. They are now practicing the notes in
Toronto, under the direction of our own Bob Dylan, Bro Jun Capule 70B.
THE MORNING AFTER:
·   Some are going home on Monday while some are staying for an escapade in Canada.
·   Finances permitting, I hope to buy some Big Dungeoness Crabs for the stay-overs. Big
Oysters will be (hopefully) complimented by Bro Dodie/ Trini Florindo ‘61.
THE SUPPORT GROUP:
·   Rick Silvano is taking care of the hotel/foods business.
·   Cip is doing the impossible in order to help me.
·   My job is to create and Direct the Programs in all 3 days.

Gen Mar Tanchanco...without their help and guidance, this boat will not be sailing.
·   Secure your Canadian Visa now while there is still time.
·   Please buy Travel/ Medical insurance. You are NOT allowed to get sick here. Tanggal

·   Bring sweaters. It may be summer but it gets chilly at NIGHT while gallivanting at the
English Bayside thoroughfare.
·   Upon arrival, Money Exchange wickets are open and located at the main floor of the
Airport terminal bldg.
·   Hold your food from now on. Bro Rick Silvano '65B would not want the food he
ordered to go to waste.
·   Bring cameras/ Video recorders.
·   For the undecided, it does not get better than this. I am preparing printed souvenirs with
the member's name on them. Also the Hotel Room Bookings are starting to fill up.
Summer is Peak Season here. Loads of Tourists are expected. Please come, your
presence will make us all proud.
